I'm Matt Windon, a Cinematographer with a passion for telling bold, cinematic stories through the lens. With a strong foundation in visual storytelling and a collaborative spirit, I bring a grounded yet stylized approach to every project I shoot.

My journey as a DP started with an opportunity from legendary cinematographer Don Burgess, who brought me on for second unit work on The Witches and then Pinocchio.

Currently, I’m shooting the final two episodes of Netflix's 3 Body Problem Season 3, lensing the climax of the acclaimed sci-fi series alongside director Anders Engström. This follows my work on Amazon’s The Terminal List: Dark Wolf with director Paul Cameron, as well as The Terminal List Season 2 alongside director Marcos Siega. In 2026 I was honoured with the ACS Golden Tripod Award for my 2nd unit cinematography on Alien: Earth (FX / Hulu)
